VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The following describes what we need your help with
(note this list has recently been updated based on tasks that have been filled).
SPONSORSHIP SOLICITERS
We’re looking for energetic individuals to help secure print advertisers for our program and syllabus, onsite display vendors with products and services interesting to artisans and patron sponsors for various creative components of our event. Volunteers for this position must be members of ACV’s Development Committee, a very lively group which meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month in Charlottesville. We welcome participation from all over the state, so physical attendance at the meetings is not required as long as consistent communication and status reports are provided. Generous registration discounts will be provided based on involvement and performance.
DONATE SUPPLIES
There are many types of things we may need for the event….some items we won’t know about until the workshops have been arranged. For example, a presenter may need a Power Point projector to avoid having to rent one….do you have one you could loan? Contact Sherri and let her know if you are willing to assist and as the need arises she’ll call you into service! The off-set on registration will be based on what’s being donated in such a way that all parties will feel good about the exchange.
