The Virginia Quilt Museum’s Textile Study Seminar: Mourning and Meaning Through Cloth, Oct. 21-22 in Historic Downtown Harrisonburg. Speakers and participants will explore the customs and symbols of the Victorian era through needlework, textile arts, fashion and jewelry, historic cemetery tour, and (friendly) ghosts of the antebellum Warren-Sipe House. Included are “Midnight in the Garden of Quilts” and other exhibitions.
