Join us…for On Sunny Slope Farm’s inaugural Wine, Oyster & Artisan Festival. It’s an All Virginia Day!

Enjoy tastings from valley wineries, coastal oysters and an array of craft foods as you explore our curated, local artisan booths and are
entertained with live music and fun activities. Spend a leisurely Sunday afternoon on the farm with your family and friends.

Oyster Purveyors, Bruce and Daniel Vogt of Big Island Aquaculture Oysters are joining us from Hayes, Virginia to pair their oysters with Virginia Wines for an extraordinary Shenandoah Valley “Merroir to Terroir” experience!

Vineyards/Wineries: Bluestone Vineyard, Castel Glen Winery, Hunt’s Vineyard, North Mountain Vineyard & Winery, Narmada
Winery, White Barrel Winery, Barren Ridge Vineyard and Cave Ridg Vineyard.

Craft Foods: Big Island Aquaculture Oysters, Bella Festa, Mashita, Dayton Tavern, Bazzle’s Bakery and Smiley’s Ice Cream.

Join us under the VIP tent as local chefs showcase specialty dishes paired with these exquisite Virginia wines.

Special guest culinary writer, Patrick Evans-Hylton from Virginia Eats and Drinks Magazine will be providing cooking demos with festive oyster shucker Rex Hamaker from Taste Virginia Tours.

Proceeds from this event will be going to the Artisan Center of Virginia in support of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Artisan Trail and the Virginia Oyster Trail.
On Sunny Slope Farm is a member of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Artisan Trail (Trail Site # 48 ) and is situated in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley in Rockingham County.

Proceeds from this event will be going to the Artisan Center of Virginia and the Virginia Oyster Trail.
