Gay Street Gallery presents the work of select, award-winning artists from Virginia and around the country. With a focus on representational landscape and figurative paintings, the Gallery also shows sculpture and other three-dimensional art, and also hosts exhibitions of contemporary work in various media.
Located in picturesque “Little” Washington, Virginia, Gay Street Gallery sits centrally within two blocks of restaurants, shops, entertainment and lodging. The historic building housing the Gallery is believed to be the oldest continually operated mercantile building in the Commonwealth of Virginia. An adjacent courtyard makes the perfect place for a picnic lunch, and resident artist Kevin H. Adams can usually be found working in his studio next door in a building that once housed the local school bus. Please visit our website for information about the artists whose work currently is on display. Subscribe to our email list through our website for invitations to opening receptions, which feature award-winning Virginia wines.
