Nature is a constant inspiration and source of design in my work. Strongly influenced by the Japanese attitude toward beauty and craftsmanship, I have attemped to let my forms and brushwork express a feeling of harmony and peace. It is important to me that people enjoy living with my pots—that they are functional and help enrich one’s every day life.
My stoneware pottery is fired in a gas kiln to 2300 degrees. It is lead-free and may be used in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. Pottery is available at the 43rd Street Gallery in Richmond, VA.
