A self-taught artist, Diane Cronin Bostic, born in Newburyport, Massachusetts now resides in her relocated 1772 antique home on Newland Road in Northern Neck’s Richmond County with her husband, David, their 2 cats, 2 dogs, and flock of chickens.
Diane’s first love was pottery. Along with her love of pottery, she is an accomplished quilter, faux painter and folk art rug hooker. She also does period wall stenciling and is an avid antique collector. Since moving to Virginia, she has become fascinated with southern face jugs and enjoys making miniature examples of these.
She is a master barber and operates a barbershop out of her home in Newland. A display of her wares is available in the barbershop. Shop hours are Thursday and Friday 9-5, and Saturday 7-12.
