Artisans Center of Virginia


The Artisans Center of Virginia (ACV) communicates organizational newsworthy announcements, press releases, and other material to the media, members,and general public.

ACV works with key internal and external stakeholders and partnering agencies to communicate ACV’s specific objectives and overall mission.

ACV seeks to stimulate editorial coverage on Virginia Artisans, their communities and program partners by facilitating media tours, creating targeted content, and promoting member activities through digital media channels.

How can you work with ACV public relations?

  • Share your idea for a media “Familiarization Tour” (FAM Tour) with us.
  • Share your idea for a co-op advertising opportunities that our members may be interested in.
  • If you are an industry partner requesting images or video content:


  • Log in and post your dated event or activity on the ACV Calendar of Events and ACV will share it digitally on applicable organization and program digital media channels.
  • ACV is regularly approached by media wishing to feature ACV members and communities. To be considered for these opportunities, please ensure that your member profile information is up to date and includes enticing, current imagery.
  • Send us a link when your locality is featured in the news or by a writer and we will digitally share it via digital media channels.
